Healthy Living and Wellness for 2012 | Weight Loss and Nurtrition Coach

If your like 80% of the population, you’re challenged this month with the Goals/New Year resolutions you made, that’s okay…it happens to 8 out of 10 people. Our advice is to stay strong and get healthy…Here are 5 tips to help you out!

1.Re-read your wellness and health goals you set and commit to reading them again everyday.

2. If you didn’t do it first time round, make sure you have written down 3 reasons why you want to achieve each goal. Make them important. Make them a Must!

3. Get really specific. Describe how you will feel as you’re working towards achieving it. What it will be like when you’ve competed it? How great it would feel to be healthy and strong and at your ideal weight.

4. Come up with a strategy that will keep you motivated. For me, I like to read my goals every day. I have my top goal written out and carry it with me at all times. I create a mantra that I repeat, one that motivates and inspires me to achieve my goal and become the healthiest, best me I can be! As you write it out keep reading it and check in with yourself to see if the wording sits comfortably, motivates and inspires you! (This is really important)

5. If your are like me, you are very visual, consider cutting out pictures that inspire and motivate you to stay on track.  For me- its the Nike Women’s ads… and other awesome pictures and sayings from health and wellness magazines.. Tuck a few into your purse or wallet and tape some around the house. Remember the fridge and mirrors are a great place for some pictures, sayings and motivators.
